Disable Dynamic Translation in Activity Logs

Is there a way to disable Dynamic Translation in activity logs (Work-notes and comments fields)?

It is enabled by default I guess. But if you click on that translate icon again it hides it in activity stream.

From doc:

"Dynamic translation is enabled by default for comments and work notes in the activity stream. Click translate Translate icon to show or hide the translated content for each comment or work note."

I was actually looking to remove the 'Translate' link itself.

We could use DOM in an onLoad client script, but that would only work for existing comments.

Even for newly entered comments, I'm trying to remove the 'Translate' link.
