Disaster recovery information in CMDB

Is anyone using the CMDB to hold information related to disaster recovery for particular CIs?   For example, how the CI is backed up, where the location of passwords are stored, recovery sequence, instructions for recovery, etc.   If so, can you provide an overview of what you have done and how it is working for you?   Are there better options for storing this type of information?

We update the Service Offerings with commitments for RPO, RTO in addition to the required test cycle (annual, monthly, etc) and include the last date the test was successful.



The GRC module has options to capture process and procedures and might be worth reviewing or the knowledge management module as well that could be linked to specific CI's.
