Display name in place of sys_id in reference field?

Hi,

In a reference field I am seeing the sys_id instead of the names of the record. I want to see the category name in the reference field but instead i am seeing the sys_id of the record. Display value is true for category field in category column . How can I solve this issue?

Hello,

Go to Category dictionary and see if it is a function string field ? if yes then you cannot use Display value for that.
