Emails Not showing in Activity Stream

The sent emails are not appearing in the activity stream. I made sure the sent/receive box was checked off in the filter but it still isn't showing. I also made sure the correct role was entered in the Activity Formatter. Anyone have any advise as to what else it could be?

Hi Go to Email Properties. Check the box - Email sending enabled. This is something you must have enabled in production instance. For the lower instances you can enable this also. But since you don't want sending emails to users from sub prod instances, ensure that you fill a dummy email-id in the next textbox - Send all emails to this test email address.you can put like test@example.com so it gets sent but no one actually gets it. Hi Did you check if the emails are sent . Go to the email logs and check the state of the emails. Only the sent and received state emails do show in the activity log .

I navigated to the email logs and they all say "send/ready." I selected one of the records and changed the field to "sent" and the email appeared in the activity stream. Any advice on how to make sure they are sending instead of being "send/ready"

Make sure that send/receive option should be true in the configure activity stream.

Also check following thing.

navigate to System Properties > UI PropertiesLocate the property labeled List of roles (comma separated) that can view emails in the Activity Formatter when "Sent/Received Emails" are included.
