Export list report with grouping collapsed

I am trying to export a list report with the grouping collapsed.  The report shows the group collapsed in the dashboard but when the report is exported in pdf the grouping is expanded.  Attached is an image of the report with collapsed grouping.

Hi Ben,

Its the expected behaviour. In additon,If the Group by field is a field from the table of a reference field, the report exports with the groups collapsed.   If the Group by field is from the primary table, the report exports with the groups expanded.
