Extract data from ServiceNow using JDBC

Is it possible to use a JDBC Driver to connect to ServiceNow database[1] and extract data from it?

I know it's possible to connect to ServiceNow using a native ODBC driver provided by ServiceNow (link), and I also know it's possible to connect using a 3rd party provider JDBC such as CData (link), but I want to see if there is a native option, a JDBC driver created and supported by ServiceNow. Any ideas?

[1] I use term Database loosely here. I understand that I'll never be able to connect directly to the DB for a number of reasons including security.
