Fresh Install: Failing widget error 'Portal config' (27eb09900b111200b0b02c6317673aff)

Hello dear community,

I'm trying to resolve a pressing issue with Servicenow Employee Center portal as I can't modify due the error in the attachment. I have even tried resetting the test instance but in vain, I keep receiving the same error message. I have ran fix-script for RCA approvals.

I have updated the application to the latest version and also tried to switch to the scoped application, but all attempts were in vain, and the instance is freshly installed, can you please help ?

Description

When users go to edit the branding of their portals, they are presented with errors about an failing widget.

Cause

While there can be many causes, this is likely due to the bad "quick start config" array and object that is defined in the portal record below:
https://<instance>.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sp_portal.do?sys_id=<sys id of affected portal>

Resolution

To resolve, you can either remove or refine the "Quick Start Config" field for that record. Typically, those fields are auto generated when using the branding editor so be careful when making edits to the field.

Navigate to System Applications -> Application Restricted Caller Access

Sort by created z-a.

There should be some records right at the top that have the Status value showing as Requested, set them to Allowed.

Hello Kumar, thanks for the promt reply, however, I have already checked this option, and all records were in allowed status, can you suggest another approach ?

Hmm... could we check the RCA one last time without the filter set : Application is same as Target scope
