I am having difficulty with Guided Tour for the Knowledge Homepage. I am just now beginning to explore the use of Guided Tours. I was able to construct something useable for the Problem application but am struggling to do the same for Knowledge. If attempting to insert a callout for any item on the Knowledge Homepage header or within the Knowledge Homepage content frame, the Guided Tour Designer will allow me to insert the callout and save but when attempting to preview the tour, callouts to Knowledge Homepage header items do not ever display and tour is frozen at that point.
Am seeing same behavior in my own instances as well as my personal developer instance (all on London). Keeping things very simple, if tour starts at homepage, first callout at Filter Navigator, then second Callout at Knowledge>Homepage - tour will follow that far. If next callout is for any item in Knowledge homepage header (Import Articles button or Create Article button for example) - the callout will save within tour designer but never appears when attempting to play the tour.
Is this an expected behavior? Tour type that I am selecting is Standard UI.
Thanks,
Andrew Bouland

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for posting!
Cases like the Knowledge page, Service Catalog, Dashboards etc are examples of Custom UI and do not actually fall into the category of Standard UI (which are forms and lists).
Officially, Guided Tours are only supported on Standard UI and Service Portals. Eventhough there are evidences of it being tweaked to work for dashboards also.
In NewYork, we are targetting exactly these pages (as above) by introducing the 'Custom' tour type. So when you select 'Custom' tour type while creating a tour, you will be able to support all the above pages.
Thanks
