what is your condition in flow designer.
You can make a variable editable with UI policy but in flow designer you will have to use "Wait for condition" to check when the variable changes and the do the AD updation.

In that case you need you need to add the condition "variable_name changes" in wait for condition

There is an OOB option to get catalog variables, use that to put any conditions on variables.

Hi,
If you update the variables in RITM, it will be fine as the same will be reflected in Catalog Task.
Updating variables in Task will not work.
Thanks,

Hi,
So before the Azure AD activity you want to update the value of variable?
But why?
User has given the input for Group name as AZure ad group 5; then don't you wish to create group with that name?
How will you know next time what group value to be replaced if user inputs some random group name?
