We've set up data certification on business services.
- Assignment Type = User field
- Assigned to = Managed by
When the schedule ran, it went to the Managed by of the service at the time as expected. It was the wrong person so we changed the service's Managed by to the correct person. Obviously this did not affect the data certification task because it was already created. However, we updated the data in the data certification task was set to the correct Managed by and the data certification task element Assigned to reflects the proper person. We then re-saved the task expecting/hoping that it would align with the proper Assigned to for the task. That did not happen. Is there something else we need to do to get this aligned properly or is this not possible?

I had to reject the elements that related to the incorrect managed by(s). Create a new data certification filter to specify the business services that needed an updated managed by. Create a new schedule to use that filter and ran that. I do with there was a way to reassign the document from the data certification module, that way the user could reassign to the proper person.

The task doesn't need to reassigned, the service was updated so just one "group" of elements need to be moved to a different task. When the schedule ran, Jane Doe was in the Managed by field so it was added to the task with the rest of Jane's services. The Managed by should've been John Brown so we updated the service to John Brown and we updated the element to John Brown. We also updated the Assigned to of all the related elements to John Brown but they are still under the task of Jane Doe.
