I have a form that generates and attaches a PDF to the form when an action button is clicked. Then, the user needs to be able to read the document to make sure the information is correct. When a different action button is clicked, a notification is generated that sends and email with the PDF attached to it.
Is there a way to encrypt this attachment when it is attached, so it is sent encrypted and have a single key that we can give to the specific recipients of this email so they can open it and all subsequent encrypted emails?
Our current process requires the user to download the PDF, encrypt it outside of ServiceNow and then attach the encrypted version before the email is sent. We want to eliminate the extra steps.
We are currently in Quebec and hope to be in San Diego by the end of the year. I know there are changes coming in San Diego, would it be worth waiting?
