How do we set approval for the Request Item

Hello All,

I have configured a Service Catalog and designed the work flow accordingly, my requirement is when the SC is submitted then an approval should be triggered to the called id's manager.

Current scenario is when i am submitting the SC the requested for shows as (Caller_id) but in the Request Item its setting the System Administrator, how can we change this to the caller_id?

Have you checked the Approval Engine module, to see if the settings are different between the custom table and the sc_req_item table? The custom table may be following the Approval Rules (under system policy), and the Requested Item table may have the Approval Rules turned off so that it follows the workflow approval setup.

Please check my environment screenshot and one more thing I'm thinking of adding caller's department head approval so what do you thing could we add a business rule to apply this
