How do you check your subscriptions with a SELF hosted instance?

We have a self hosted instance. I am trying to determine that we have everything activated that we purchased. And what exactly we purchased(I was not involved with the purchase process) . Because we have a self hosted instance I cannot just go to Subscription and look to see what is there. Its blank.

We have the Service Management Suite and the ServiceWatch Mapping  -  what none of the documents seem to tell me is what exactly is IN those two packages.

Of course we know the basics Service Mapping contains the items needed to map services. Which is all the actual documents say. Or you have the things to manage servers. That's all well and good but where do I find the specifics?

But what functionality is in the Service Management Suite? What functionality is in the Core? No document that I have found yet answer those questions.

Thanks

ed

You can do two things.

1) Call support and have them walk you through which paid subscriptions you have and how to find out if they are active.

2) run the following URL in your instance where yourinstance = your instance, then check to ensure all the plugins you've paid for are active.

https://yourinstance.service-now.com/v_plugin_list.do?sysparm_query=active%3Dactive&sysparm_first_row=1&sysparm_view=

To answer your question about which packages are included, I don't believe that is documented because there are changes made to enhance the experience on nearly every build. If there are specifics you need answered, SNC customer support would be better suited to get you the information you desire.

This is what I can get you for the general documentation regarding Service Mapping. Beyond this, I would recommend to contact support.

Thanks I will try that. Oh believe me I have already contacted support. And am currently running in circles because apparently they do not understand the question.

Ed, I'm sorry you are not getting what you need. When you contact support, ask to speak to a subject matter expert for Service Watch and Service Management.
