Hi SNC family - I appreciate all of your recent help and ran across a new question. On my Requested Item form (RITM) there are variables such as location, category etc. I am not sure how to access these variables? I looked at Form Design and saw that the variables are within a field called variable editor. My goal is to be able to make one the location field within the variables to be editable (view the read/write roles). I have the knowledge how to do this on fields outside of the variables, but this is new to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Cliff

Did you mean to say that these fields have to be READ ONLY on RITM?
If yes, then write CATALOG UI POLICY and make variables as read-only by checking "Applies on Requested Item"
NOTE :-

Hi Nayan, I have been looking through the link you sent ( a lot of good information). I feel like I am getting closer to the area where I would do what I stated was my goal in the original question. I have a question though before I go any further, is it a bad policy to have a variable within the variable editor field be the same as a field outside of the variable editor. For example if the location field is a variable and a field elsewhere on the form? I know that it can lead to data loss when you have the same two field in two sections of a form unless one is not editable.\
