How to use single variable set multiple times in a catalog

Hi ,

I have created a variable set and have   to use it multiple times in a catalog at different order.

Can I some how copy all the variables of variable set and just change name for 2nd and 3rd variable set.

I tried insert but variables are not getting copied.

Do I have to again create 2nd and 3rd variable set with same variables?

I wanted to know this to save my time and effort .

But I could able to add the same variable to another item by using "insert and stay" will this give an issue later.
