How to view the 'Application Services' option in 'Configuration' menu

Alej0
Kilo Explorer

Hi.

Although I have the "app_service_admin" role, there is no "Application Services" option in Configuration -> Application Services  as stablished in:

Manually create an application service"

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/london-servicenow-platform/page/product/service-mapping/task/create-it-services.html

What can I do in  order to see the option needed?

Thanks

You need app_service_user role to view application service menu.

OR you can go to sa_discovered_services.LIST with correct role.

Regards,

Sachin

I have a strange issue, when I click on the 'application services' module, it loads the page it self and never takes me to the sa_discovered_services_list?sysparm_view=it_service_view.

But when I pass the parameters in the URL, it takes me.

Thanks,

We're experiencing the same thing.  Have you figured this out?

I've tried it with and without the 'app_service_admin' role and it works the same either way.

I'm going to log a HI support ticket but thought I'd also ask here.  Thanks.

I received a reply from HI:

Reason: This is known issue PRB1303545

Issue:
London Patch 4 upgrade: Application Services menu not working

Solution Proposed:
This is fixed in Madrid.

This is a known issue PRB1303545
KB0712498
https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sys_kb_id=e4dab90ddb6823802be0a851ca9619a0&sysparm_rank=2&sysparm_tsqueryId=0193bed6dbcf2300d6a102d5ca961951

Workaround:
Go to Service Mapping -> Services -> Application Services

Click on the Edit icon to go to the module.
If you open up the module and go to Link Type, add the ".do":

sa_discovered_services_list?sysparm_view=it_service_view
the URL should look like below:

sa_discovered_services_list.do?sysparm_view=it_service_view
