I am not finding the post button below the comment field, is that any reason. Please help with this .

The comments field of the table might not be selected to be visible on the regular activity stream in the desktop application. 

Check the value of the system property glide.ui.<table>_activity.fields

Add the comments field to the list of fields in the system property if it is not there.
