Hi,
In an attempt to reduce email notifications, I am exploring options whereby Service Now can display notifications in a sidebar whenever a ticket is assigned to a user, or a ticket they are working on is updated etc.
See attached mock-up as an example.
I am aware of sidebar but this seems to just allow conversation between users. Also, activity stream is good but it contains all sorts of updates on a ticket.
Is there anything which is linked to notifications which can rather than send an email, present within the tool itself?
Thanks.

Hi Chaz,
You can try provider notification, which may fulfill your need
Refer to the doc --> https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-platform-administration/page/administer/notification/co...
Note: I hope you can examine and fix the flaws I saw when I was testing, but the popup functioned well. For example, the bell symbol in the banner did not display the amount of notifications.

Does anyone know how notifications can be enabled for next UI perhaps making use of the inbox? I have gathered that the notification mentioned above clears out after 7 days.
