Instance Decommissioning

Hi all,

We are going to decommission our current subproduction instances as we're moving to our new instances in a couple of months.

I'd like to pick some ideas on some plans how to decommission an instance - some strategies with processes, users before finally turning it off.

I have some ideas in mind but would like to hear from anyone who has actually done this in the past.

I haven't done this in the past but I'd do a search using one the many code search things out there to find any references to that instance's url.
