Is it possible to export the CI dependency view to a list?

Hi
One of my colleagues wants to plan disaster recovery using CMDB data.
He wants to -
1. List all the applications and servers associated with each application in scope for disaster recovery
2. Plan the sequence of shutdown and start applications and servers
For that he wants a list of all the CIs application and server CIs under a particular business service.
For some reason he doesn't want to use the image view (export image feature of dependency view). He needs it in a list format.
I have found a way to do it i.e. running scripted filter on cmdb_rel_ci.
But wanted to if there is a cleaner approach to this.

Hi,
If you are on Istanbul then you can probably use the CMDB Query Builder.
Build a CMDB query using the CMDB Query Builder
Regards,
Niklas

Thanks for your reply Niklas. Unfortunately we are not yet on Istanbul. So I will not be able to suggest using CMDB Query Builder to the requester.
