Is there a specific limitation on the number of Knowledgebase Articles in ServiceNow, or is it limited by your purchased storage space?

As an administrator of Salesforce, we had a limitation to number of knowledgebase articles that we could have, both active and archived.

In ServiceNow, does this limitation exist, or is it just an overall storage limitation that you contractually pay for?

This is my first question to a community and I have not seen any Google searches or a search in the engine before I posted this, so I apologize if I missed the link to an FAQ.

Hi Brandon,

Unlike Salesforce, ServiceNow doesn't limit things like knowledge base articles or transactions. We're not in a shared instance. Your database is your database. We're not going to tell you 10,000 knowledge base articles. Go nuts! To me, that's part of the benefit of using a cloud service.

Thanks Chuck!

Hi Chuck,
I have a question related to this. So if there is no limit, I was asked 1 question.
It was like: I have a knowledge base "MyBase" is there any limit to create KB articles under this knowledge base?  Or I can create as many I want?

Hi @Yash Mahajan1

There is no limit to create Articles under any base.
