I noticed that when I put quotes in the Short Description (example Error "Unauthorized error 401" while opening IE) it shows fine with the quotes in the search list when searching the Knowledge Base but as soon as I go into the actual article the Short Description will show with a slash in front of each quote (example Error /"Unauthorized error 401/" while opening IE). Anyone see this before and know what it is happening? It does not show this in the Text field when adding quoted text.

Hey Laura:
I just noticed, you have the starting ", but not the ending ". May be that makes the difference. Worth giveing a shot.
P.S. Hit it correct and helpful as you see the impact.
Kind regards

I do have the ending " in the Short Description/Title. I tried moving the quotes around to see if the placement mattered but that did not seem to help. I even tried using the single quote or the ' but that gave the same results with the \ in front. Again I only see the \ when I am looking at the actual article that the user would see and not in edit screen or in the search list. I am not sure if other people are seeing this as well when they put quotes in their Short Description. At a loss.

Hey Laura:
Can you raise a ticket in Hi and may they be they can help with this quirky behavior. Because, I did not see that happening in our environment.
Hope this is helpful.
thanks

I can ask our administrator to see if he can do that. Thank you.

Assuming you are on Fuji and I am interpreting this discussion correctly, we had this same issue and found the Fuji patch 11 fixed this issue. Fuji Patch 11http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Release:Fuji_Patch_11#gsc.tab=0
