Hi everyone,
We're currently working with the Microsoft Teams Spoke integration in ServiceNow and have encountered a limitation we’re unsure how to resolve. We’d really appreciate any insights or experiences from the community.
Context:
We’ve fully configured the Microsoft Teams Spoke integration.
We've registered an application in Azure Active Directory with all the required Application permissions.
A dedicated service account is linked to this app, and authentication from ServiceNow is working as expected.
We’ve successfully tested posting messages to Teams where this service account is a member.
The Issue:
When trying to use the Post Message action on a Team where the account is not a member, the action fails or does nothing, even though we have granted broad application-level permissions in Azure.
Our goal is for this integration account to be able to post messages to any Team or channel across the organization, without needing to be manually added to each Team.
Main Question:
Is there any additional configuration (in Azure AD, Teams, or ServiceNow) that would allow this account to have global visibility and messaging access across all Teams in the organization?
Alternatively:
Has anyone found a way to solve this?
Thanks in advance for any help!
