Hello, clever people.
I was wondering how I might change the default behaviour of the catalog reference field search box, so that whenever I use it, it would behave as if I had entered an asterisk.
For example, when selecting which application has an issue, I see no results for 'visio', because the object in the table is called Microsoft Visio, but I see results for *visio.
Any thoughts?

Hi Phil,
You can use it without issues in Eureka. If you can't find it, you can add it yourself to the system properties table. In order to do this type sys_properties.list in the navigator search field. It will automatically take you to the system properties table. You can add the system property there.
Kind regards,
Thijs

Phil,
You need to create the property. It does not exist by default to keep people from just changing it without understanding the potential performance risks.

Thanks for your help, Ben. You were right, I did need to create the property. Is there a list somewhere of properties that are available if you add them?

Hi Phil,
You can find the list here: Available System Properties - ServiceNow Wiki
Service catalog: Service Catalog Properties - ServiceNow Wiki
It might not be 100% complete, but most of the properties are described there.
Kind regards,
Thijs

Thanks for the screenshot on that answer - I wasn't sure what to look for to see if that property was set and that was a great help.
