Couple questions on the menu options in the new Next Experience in San Diego.
1: Is there a way to collapse all apps in the ALL menu? For instance in old UI you could click the icon twice to collapse all
old -
new -
2: Is there a way to get just the icons for favorites to display in the pinned menu to make the menu small "collapsed" like in the old UI?

Hi Michelle
As Maik replied, those features are not supported in Next Experience.
Following is just my personal thougts.
It seems like in Next Experience, I'm suppose to user filter more often and keep left menu hidden most of the time. In actually for me, I have to move my mouse more and enter more to get a task done.
I have to be honest and say that I'm set my San Diego to use the old UI for user I use in day to day tasks. I'm not sure about some of the design decisions. For example, why is the "New" button on the right instead of left as it used to be? I usually have all of tasks I use as Favorites and just click of tasks I'm going to do and then select the "New" button. With Next Experience, I have to select the task from Favorites at the left of the page and then move my mouse to the right to click on the "New" button.
The only thing I like about the New Experience menu is that now, I can pin my favorites and still select All to display all menu items.
"Actions on selected rows" are only appearing on top right corner now. It uses to show at the bottom left corner. This has an advantage that it's always showing but I usually check all the records before doing operation on records so now, I have to move my to the top of the page.
I know ServiceNow did some tests to improve productivity so it just may be that there is a better way than the way I'm using it. Anyways, I think I'll wait until new releases to see improvements in New Experience before I switch to it for daily usage.

Please bring back the Minimize Navigator button so I can put my pinned shortcuts into icon mode. This new interface is wasteful and causing a lot of extra clicks to get to my favorites, or keep them open and waste a ton of screen space.

Hi @Michelle P
In next experience, the navigation bars are hidden and if you want to show you can pin that.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
