Now mobile app - security constraints for on prem customers?

Hi! Have a customer inmplementing ITSM as self-hosted due to rigorous security constraints for their data handling. Looking for more information on whether the customer can consider using the Now mobile app or not in this scenario. Has anyone got any do's / don'ts or ran into reference documentation that could be of help?

Yes, but it may require a VPN client if it's behind a firewall, and push notification will not work.
