Preview on Catalog Items

Hi,

Can I remove this preview link (which does not do anything anyway) from the items list?

The value of glide.sc.auto_expand is set to 0. I changed it to 1 and then back to 0, just to make sure. Preview is still there.

Currently on Helsinki patch 6, UI16, This also happened in patch 2 and in UI15.

So the link will always show up if you have the description field populated, and should show whatever pictures and text you have in the description. If it's not showing those things when you click on it then that's a bug you should report. I don't think there's a great way to remove it.

Hi Guys,

I have found the solution for this preview viewing under "Catalog Administration" -> "Properties" (Istanbul version).

What I have enabled to have this done.

=>Under "Properties", check the option "When browsing a category use the popup icon to show item details".

This will disable to preview for Catalog Item. Attached is the screenshot for of setting & output.
