Primary IP Address field of every CI is not getting updated.!!

Hi All,

I am using Kingston Patch 12 version, where I am having an issue with the Primary IP Address field of the CIs. All of the classes which have this field is not getting updated such as Routers, Firewalls, etc.

Whenever I am trying to update the field with IP Address it is automatically clearing out. I have checked the field properties and ACLs. The field is also set as strings. I'm not sure what caused this issue. Please help.

Thanks for your help.

It certainly was an Business rule that was created for the discovery jobs to not to update them IP address manually.

HI,

Can you check if on main table there is any client script, UI policy where Clear Variable is check as true and Business rule as well.

What you can do is , right click on that field and watch that field in main window. And Fill something in IP field and save. You will get list of all script running on that field.
