Remove (empty) in Assignee ID field

We updated to London recently, and since then we have the word (empty) listed on incident lists when there is not Assignee ID yet.  Is there any way to remove this and just have a blank field?  This is the only list field where it is happening.  People are complaining that it is annoying when they sort their list.  See attached.

I spoke to Support and see their response below; They will not change this back to show blank instead of (empty)

Hello Mike,

This was an intentional change made to resolve a problem PRB1004508, which was a longstanding bug that was preventing the text from rendering previously. The addition of "(empty)" was to help make it clear that the cell is actually empty/valueless rather than just an empty string value. This is helpful in general but it's especially valuable for accessibility purposes since screenreader users used to get silence about the cell's value instead of being told explicitly that it is empty.

This clarification also documented in the following KB aritcle :
KB0716584 - Why do lists have "(empty)" instead of blank cells for reference fields without a value.

Hi,

please have a look at this topic discussion, it seems there isn't a property for doing it but give a try to the solution provided by venkatr:

Field type 'Date/Time' not to show "(empty)" in list view

If I have answered your question, please mark my response as correct so that others with the same question in the future can find it quickly and that it gets removed from the Unanswered list.

Thanks you

If you are on Kingston Patch 10 or above, London patch 2 or above. SN knows that Please refer to https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0716584.
