Save button on view/report missing

User is able to create report. But when he opens existing report, there is only run button but no save button in new UI. In  classic ui "save" is disabled. User said it was working before. Appreciate any pointers to what to check to get "save" button back.

Hi Giri,

 

Couple of checks.

1. Is required role (necessary report_user, report_group) associated to user's profile.

2. Check if the report is created in certain scope which has Caller restrictions.

I find user already part of itil  which should give ability to create reports which means should be able to see "save" button as well to save already created reports of her own. It is weird "save" button missing.

Hello,

The user would be able to update/save their own report and could update/save a global report if they have the "report_global" role.

A user may update their own groups report if they have the "report_group" role.

A user with "report_admin" may update any report.

So an ITIL user can not simply update/save just any report, regardless if they can see it or not.

Example: this is a global report, this user is only ITIL, classic report interface has "save" button disabled:

Thanks for the replies. It is about user's own report. User is able to create her own report. As shown here there is no  "Save"  button to update anymore. It does not make sense to create her own, but not update.find_real_file.png
