ServiceNow Foundations: Three Easy Steps to Create a Workflow Using Flow Designer

I want to help you establish an understanding of how easy it is to build a workflow in the ServiceNow platform.

A common challenge is where and how to start. A workflow is a discipline that we do or follow in daily life. It is a trigger response, an occurrence reaction depending on a particular situation.

The platform wrote it in a manner where it became elementary and with no difficulty at all. If you are successful in carrying steps using a manual then it will also be the same on your journey of building workflows for ServiceNow.

Here are the three easy steps:

1. The Trigger

The trigger feature gives you the ability to decide on when to take action. Since ServiceNow is module based and each module are founded by a table. The table is where the information are stored.

2. The Condition

Once a specific module is utilized, you now have the ability to filter out and create a condition. A common rule on when this workflow is going to run.

3. Action

Finally, what action is the rule going to do. Are you going to notify somone, create something, send an email and so on.

These three steps gives you the power to create multiple or more rules. The ability to react responsibly and make the right decisions automatically! Now, you will look good to your superiors!
