Hello All!
I have a couple questions about mid server set up.
Do I need to have an instance of ServiceNow running on a server in order to install and run a MID server on it?
What is the best way to install the MID server on an EC2 instance? Should I download the install file to my windows workstation and use putty to transfer it to the server or is there better way?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
there are few options to install MiD Server. before go though it, you have to install MiD Server with VPC on AWS environment.
1. you can copy files by using file tranfer options/tools. (or).
2. In my case, logged on the server where we need to install Mid server, logon on to ServiceNow instance and download MiD server files & Install MiD server.
Hope this helps you!!!
Regards,
Vinil.

Hi,
the better option is to login to your EC2 VM, launch the Service Now instance there, download the MID installation and run through the setup.
make sure you dont have any Proxy setup between your VPC and out-bounds are setup to talk with Service now.
thanks...
