Question: Is ServiceNow able to throw HTTP error code 404 when accessing a page that doesn't exist?
In my testing I found that ServiceNow always throws HTTP code 200, even when accessing pages or URL's that don't exist in the system. I could not find any clear information on the forum's or on the wider internet. This goes for both the Now Classic UI and Service Portals (note that the configured 404 page does not throw HTTP Error 404).
We want ServiceNow to throw HTTP Error code 404 when accessing deadlinks, because we have another automated system checking and flagging deadlinks (404's). Does anyone know if ithis is possible?
