I am unable to add a new UI action to the context menu of an Incident. I have done this successfully many times before, but now it isn't working.
I have the check box selected and I also have the form link selected. It shows up as a form link, so I know there isn't a problem with the conditions.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Cody

Well,
I tried updating the cache and going into an incognito browser as was suggested. Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. I also exported the UI action as XML and imported it into another instance, the UI action was still not visible in the context menu.
"Solution"
I was not able to make the UI action I was working with visible in the context menu. This UI Action was a copy of another UI action in the context menu.
However, I found that if I created a new UI action, I was able to make the new UI action visible in the context menu. Also I was able to make copies of that UI action visible in the context menu. Finally, I was also able to make a copy of a UI action was not and had not previously been made visible in the context menu, and then I could make the new UI action visible in the context menu.
Thought
It seems, that at least in my instance, if make a copy of a UI action created prior to Rome that was visible in the Context menu, then I won't be able to make the copy visible in the context menu.
I appreciate that help. Hope, no one else has this problem, but if you do, maybe what I've found will help you.
Thanks,
Cody

Hi
If the Form Link is visible then ideally Form Context Menu should be visible. Try these:
- Could please check if there is any console error in the browser developer console. If there is any error then please post it in the reply to analyze
- Try clearing the ServiceNow cache by https://<instance_name>.service-now.com/cache.do and then after closing all the browser windows login again and check if the Form Context Menu is visible.
Please mark my answer as correct if this solves your issues!
If it helped you in any way then please mark helpful!
Thanks and regards,
Kartik

Hi,
If the conditions aren't the issue and you've checked that box, then you may want to clear your instance cache and see if that resolves it (also try logging out and back in).

Hi there,
That sounds odd!
If you open your NOW instance in an incognito browser (no cookies); does the UI Action show?
