Brutal honesty, I did not look for it until I needed to debug a client script. Where's my gear icon? I need to turn enable the debugging tools JavaScript Log and Field Watcher: Option to display the JavaScript log and field watcher.
docs says it should still be there San Diego. https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-servicenow-platform/page/administer/notification/task/co...
I've tried my Win10 corporate laptop with Edge(ium) as well as Chrome and Safari on my personal Mac.
I refreshed the instance from the developer site.
My humble apologies if this is a completely stupid question, still kinda new to this.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hello,
There is no separate gear icon in San diego.
You can see the update set and application scope in world gear icon.
You can see the preferences by clicking on the profile icon.
Please mark answer correct/helpful based on Impact.

Thanks for the quick response! I was hoping to get to the javascript logs to see why my scripts are hanging in the while loop. The San Diego documentation (https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-application-development/page/script/debugging/concept/c_...)still talks about the gear icon to get to that javascript log.
I've got the update set stuff, would you know how to get to the javascript log?

Update the value of system property "glide.ui.polaris.experience" as false and reopen your instance to see the Developer section from gear icon. Please mark as helpful if it solved your issue.
