Unable to submit HR Case as unauthenticated user from ESC Portal

Unable to submit HR Case as unauthenticated user from ESC Portal.

  1. Made the ESC Portal public
  2. Created a public homepage.
  3. Cloned sc_cat_item widget and made it public.
  4. Created a HR Case Record Producer with public user criteria and one text variable and added the roles to public.
  5. Turned off Service Catalog API - Submit Record Producer 

HR Case Form is visible as unauthenticated user and the variable is visible and when clicked on submit, it takes me to login page (SSO).

 

Tried even removing the login page and tried it but still it is taking me to SN OOB login page.

Tried with a script to redirect to esc homepage and still no luck.

 

Followed https://www.servicenow.com/community/now-platform-forum/public-ui-page-to-allow-unauthenticated-user... but still no luck

 

If anyone is successful in creating a similar use case, could you please help me out on this.
