Update Sets and Service Portal

I am having issues with the service portal. 

I created a service portal in the DEV instance.  I did so through the designer.  None of the changes I did are showing up in the Update Set, which I expect.  We were taught in training that the Service Portal does not migrate through the update set.  The question I have is, how do you move the service portal between instances?  Am I missing something?

Hi,

SP does not come over on Update Sets and to sort of clone them and bring them over requires a LOT of exporting, really too many to name from containers, etc. It would be best to just try and replicate or clone (if you can).

Anything I have ever done with Service Portal has moved in update sets.  Did you check to see if you updates are in the Default update set?

It doesn't capture everything though. I believe.

The only time I ever had an issue was when my co-developer forgot to choose an update set.
