Visual Task Boards - control view fields and actions

I need to accomplish some things in Visual Task Boards and I'm not sure where to begin...

I want to remove the Add Task button on all boards/lanes except on freeform boards.  In other words, I want users to be able to create boards to display their incidents, catalog tasks, project tasks, etc but I do not want to allow them to create tasks from those boards, even if they have the role required to create a task on the table.  But I do want to allow them to create VTB tasks on Freeform boards. How can I accomplish this?

I do not want users to create guided boards, but I do want them to be able to create flexible boards. We can't have users moving tasks from one company to another, one state to another, one assignment group to another, etc just by dragging from lane to lane.  How can I restrict the lane fields on board creation so that they cannot select reference or choice fields when creating the board?

We have a requirement that every comment requires an accompanying time worked record, therefore I do not want users to be able to click a task card and add a comment.  How do I adjust the fields shown in this view?

Did you ever get a solution to this? This is something we need to do as well.

You can see what I did in this post.  It's not perfect, but it does the job.

In Jakarta, it isn't possible to remove the Add Task button (don't know about newer versions).  You may be able to restrict create in an ACL when the creation is from a board, but I'm not sure how that would be done.

We created a HI case and they recommended the ACL also. We were able to stop the Add Task from showing up on data-driven boards for the task tables shown in the screenshot, but updated the write ACL on the vtb_board table.
