This is an old question.  Content Management System (CMS) is old and Service Portal is current.  What other pros and cons are necessary?

Hi,


CMS was the old way of end user portals and now we have Service Portals.
The only difference which i could tell you is the scripting techniques. Angular JS is used in Service Portals and CMS use to use Jelly scripting. 

This service Portal has drag and drop feature associated with it and its easy to maintain. Less coding and good look and feel can be a major difference and advantage of service portal.
