I am trying to give a user the ability to delete a knowledge article and I was wondering what role allows this without giving the user full system admin rights?

Hi Chuck,
I found a feature that allows a user the rights to delete a knowledge article without becoming the admin and I did that by going to Knowledge Bases and opened the base that I am using. I then made the user a manager which gave them the action of deleting articles.

Hi Giang,
There is no OOB role that allows delete access. That being said, it would be fairly trivial to create one and an ACL that recognizes it.

What version of ServiceNow are you running? Also, what state was the knowledge article in when the manager was able to delete the article? I am running Geneva patch 6 and making someone a manager does not enable the delete button.
