When creating a new KB article template, it does not show certain fields (article body). What am I missing?

I am working to create a standard knowledge base article template with a specific format and design. When trying to implement a new template, the article body field is missing no matter how I try to structure or what options I choose. What needs to be done to have the article body show up in a newly created article template?

Hi Eric Jones, you may need to have your admin team configure the layout to include your new fields. I find this a frustrating step, but this capability is not included in the knowledge admin role.

Here are the steps and the link to the article

I am an Admin and I cannot get "Article Body" or an "HTML Field" to appear no matter what I try. Why are those fields hidden? And how can I get them to appear? The instructions above do nothing at all to help me. I did all that, and still have a blank article. I even added an HTML field, and put in 5 paragraphs, but they do not appear at all when the article is viewed. What sorcery is necessary to get a working knowledge article from a new template?

Have you got any solution to this ? Can you please post it ?

Hey, did you ever figure this out. I'm having a similar issue. Thanks!
