Our company switched to the new UI and it seems that the Minimize Navigator button is missing. How am I supposed to minimize my pinned favorites so they don't take up inches of screen real estate?
As it is now I have to keep going up to the top to open my favorites or otherwise they remain wide when pinned, taking up WAY more space than a minimal column of icons that I'm used to.
How do I get the minimized icon view of my favorites back?

Hi @Johnny_Carter ,
In the Next Experience UI servicenow has removed the filter navigator from left hand side which was fixed instead brought a new functionality of getting the data from Header Menu.
Coming to minimising part in next experience UI there is no minimising part u can just pin & unpin a particular menu(All, Favourites, History , Workspace) as per ur requirement.
Thanks,
Danish

Again, it depends on user to user,
1. It not not extra clicks or I can same clicks as compare to old method.
2. It provides you bigger space to view the content , not a screen space wastage.

In next experience, the navigation bars are hidden and if you want to show you can pin that.
