Whether System Profile clone exc/pre/cleanup scripts apply when a custom cloneprofile is selected ?

We are preparing to clone our Production instance down to sub-production (Dev/Test) as part of an upgrade, and we've created a custom clone profile ("Standard Profile v2").

We need an authoritative confirmation of the following behavior before we run the clone:

1. When a custom clone profile is selected for a clone request, do the System Profile's exclusions, data preservers, and cleanup scripts still apply in addition to the records defined on our custom profile? Or does selecting a custom profile mean only the records associated with that custom profile are applied?

Yes, both apply together, selecting a custom profile does not override the System Profile. The System Profile is the base profile every clone runs against, so its exclusions, data preservers, and cleanup scripts are always inherited and combined with whatever you've added on "Standard Profile v2." If you open your custom profile's related lists you'll actually see entries from the System Profile mixed in with your own, which throws people off because the counts never match what you think you added. Just double check none of your custom entries conflict with or duplicate a System Profile entry before you kick off the clone.
