Hi Community,
While building a personal ServiceNow project in my Personal Developer Instance, I realized that explaining the solution clearly can be just as challenging as building it.
A few things that helped me explain my project better:
• Start with the problem before talking about features
• Explain why certain design choices were made
• Avoid listing every configuration — focus on impact
• Use simple diagrams or flows when possible
• Highlight trade-offs, not just successes
This was a self-initiated learning project, but these points made it much easier to discuss the solution with others and get meaningful feedback.
Sharing this in case it helps anyone preparing for discussions, reviews, or interviews.
Question to the community:
What’s the hardest part for you when explaining a ServiceNow solution to others?
