Need some help based on dependent field

Hello team, Merry Christmas
I need some assistance with an issue I’m facing. I have built a custom application where I created manager profiles across different tables. The username field is a reference to the sys_user table, while the remaining user details are already stored in sys_user.

I configured dependent fields using the Configuration/Builder approach. However, when I select a username to create a profile, the dependent fields (which are set to read-only) do not auto-populate or update as expected.

Could you please suggest possible solutions for this?

Specifically, I want the first name, last name, email address, and phone number to automatically populate and update based on the selected username. I also posted a table schema screenshot. Please suggest.

you can add the fields on form from dot walking that User field

Once you do that and when you select the User in reference field the dot walked fields will show data if it's there in user record.

this will happen OOTB
