If a ESS user already has the portal open on a browser window and then they are sent a link directly (via email/Teams) to another page on the portal, it will take them to that page.
However, if the ESS user did not already have ServiceNow opened and clicked the link, they would be directed to the portal homepage instead of the specific page link.
