The last push in our war on too many tabs is the bookmarks feature. The file navigator and search (stay tuned tomorrow) do a great job of giving developers fast access to all files everywhere, however, sometimes we just want to keep track of a select few, and don't want to have to keep searching for them all the time.

Bookmarking a file you want to return to later, provides the flexibility to track those files we constantly reference. I recommend bookmarking Tables, Script Includes and any properties you are working on, as well as any other files you frequently refer back to. Bookmarking files is as simple as clicking the 🔖 icon next to the file or app name in the file navigator. You can also bookmark files directly from the recent list and the home screen.

The bookmarks view has the same search and filtering options as the files view and can also be grouped by parent categories. Removing a bookmark once you no longer need frequent access to it is as simple as clicking the X which appears while hovering over the file.
