waiting for Instance to assign since a day

Hello Team,

I previously had a Personal Developer Instance (PDI) and released it through the Developer Portal.

After releasing it, I requested a new PDI and was placed on the Zurich waitlist. I am still seeing the waitlist message and have not been assigned a new instance.

Could someone please check whether my request is active and advise on the expected timeline for receiving a new PDI?

Hi @kunduruvenk

Don't worry, it's normal these days. Try to get a lower instance, preferably Zurich  or below, and then upgrade to the latest version. The upgrade typically takes 3–4 hours."

Currently, there is a limitation when embedding screenshots directly into a Community post or question. Members may not be able to download the image or zoom in sufficiently to view the details. For better visibility and quicker resolution, you can either:

  • Attach the image as a file so members can download and view it at full resolution, or

  • Embed the image using a larger image size. This needs to be done manually when creating the post.

Currently all instances - Australia, Zurich and Yoklohama has no instances and am on the waitlist!! Kindly advice the way to get one PDI at the earliest.

Patience is the only key here. PDIs do not come with support, so no one can give you an exact timeline for PDI availability.

If you need immediate help, I can assist you with creating a user in my PDI and guide you through the steps so you can continue your practice.

ahoy @kunduruvenk,

You are on a waitlist for Zurich? That seems strange, I would expect waitlist for Australia. Can you confirm that please?

Eventually go to https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/manage-instance and request lower version (if possible) unless you really need the Zurich one
