Thursday
Hi. New to SNOW. Need some help.
I can create incidents, but not change requests (this never worked for me, just learning my PDI here).
I am uploading two screenshots of my PDI. The first one shows that I can search for the word "incidents" in the left pane of the menu. If I click on the "Incidents", SNOW immediately shows a "New" button on the left side, along with the already created incidents.
The second screenshot is where I am having a problem. I would expect the same for the term "change requests". But when I search for it, all I get is "Standard Change" on the left side, and absolutely nothing on the right side (see the screenshots).
Question: Why can't I create NEW change requests in my PDI? Is there a specific plugin I need to activate? Or load some sample change requests from somewhere?
Many thanks

Hi @clerambeau3
No, the change comes OOTB in PDI and no special plugin is needed. You might be able to search in another way.
Like change_request.list
Or you can assign yourself the Change Manager role as well.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi @clerambeau3,
You don't need to activate any plugin for creating a new change request on your PDI. Just write change_request.LIST in the left navigation menu search as shown in the shot below and press Enter:
Change Request Table will be opened, when you click on New button to create a new change request:
you will be asked, what kind of change request you want to create standard or normal so choose any of them:
After selection, change request form will be opened.
FYI: change_request is an internal table name for Change Requests Table.
If my response helped, please mark it as the accepted solution and helpful so others can benefit as well.

@Dr Atul G- LNG thank you so very much for providing the solution. For some reason the "Change" link magically started to show. This did not work yesterday - the screenshot I uploaded when I opened the thread proves that.
I thought may be I didn't connect to the PDI with a privileged enough account. But no, the "Change" now shows for both "Admin" and "aes.user". It didnt work for either yesterday.
In any case the issue seems to be resolved. Please be on a lookout for future questions I may post. I am new at ServiceNow and your help is appreciated.
