Product Offerings in Contract Not Shown

Hi,

 

I have a usecase to implement wherein the contract needs to be created which should include the product offers and the price adjustments. The contract is with the parent account. However, the price adjustments should be also made available to the child accounts when they order the product offers included in the contract. One thing I have observed, is even if the related contracts section of product offering has the contract, the product offerings are never displayed in the Contract Details page. 

 

Could you please guide how the product offerings and the price adjustments can be included in the contract. ?

  • Link Product Offerings to Contracts:

    • Product offerings need to be explicitly linked to the contract record. This is often done via related lists or contract-product relationship tables.

    • Sometimes product offerings show as related to contracts but do not appear on the Contract Details page if proper linking or publishing is not done or catalog cache is not refreshed.​

  • Price Adjustments:

    • Use Configuration Component Price Adjustment Matrix to define price adjustments for specific products or bundled offerings within a contract.​

    • Price adjustments can be created based on criteria such as quantity, product configurations, or discounting rules.

Enabling Price Adjustments for Child Accounts:

  • Parent-Child Account Relationship:

    • The contract belongs to the parent account.

    • To let child accounts benefit from the contract’s product prices and adjustments, you must establish the parent-child account hierarchy.

    • ServiceNow supports inheritance of contract terms and fields from parent to child contract requests.​​

  • Inheritance Configuration:

    • Configure the system to allow child accounts to inherit contract conditions like pricing and product offerings from the parent account’s contract.
